UGGERHALNE, Denmark, May 24, 2019–Denmark’s Marianne Yde Helgstrand and Lollipop won their home CDI3* Grand Prix Friday.
Marianne, who is married to Andreas Helgstrand honorary president of this event’s organizing committee, scored 71.217% on the 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding that was previously competed by Great Britain’s Emile Faurie including at the 2017 European Championships.
Germany’s Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier placed second on Flynn PCH with a score of 70.891% in the first Big Tour competition for the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding and also the first international competition for the pair.
Charlotte Jorst of Reno. Nevada on Kastel’s Nintendo was third on 70.109%. Charlotte and the 16-year-old KWPN stallion are the top ranked Big Tour combination for the United States team for the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru in two months.
