HAWKES BAY, New Zealand, Mar. 16, 2019–Vanessa Way and New Zealand-bred NRM Andreas won the Horse of the Year CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday to log the third win in four starts since beginning Big Tour a month ago.

Vanessa and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 68.804 per cent in only the second Grand Prix show. The pair competed at Medium Tour in one event in 2018.

Wendi Williamson on Don Amour MH, also a 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding bred in New Zealand, placed second on 67.761 per cent with Jody Hartstone on Ali Baba placing third on 66.239 per cent.
