LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Feb. 1, 2019–Prize money of more than $240,000 will be awarded at the 2019 Great American Insurance Group/U.S. Dressage Festival Regional Championships, an increase of 33 per cent over 2018.
The USDF announced on Friday the 2019 prize money to be divided evenly among the nine regions and 35 divisions of more than $27,500.
Champions in each region and division will receive $473 in prize money, an engraved silver tray, and an embroidered jacket and gift certificate provided by SmartPak, official supplement feeding system of USDF. Reserve champions in each region and division will receive $315 in prize money, along with a saddle pad provided by the Great American Insurance Group, title sponsor of the championships.
In 2018, $20,000 in prize money and awards were distributed with champions in each region and division receiving $350 in prize money, an engraved silver tray, and an embroidered jacket and gift certificate provided by SmartPak, while reserve champions received $233 in prize money, along with a saddle pad provided by the Great American Insurance Group.
