RIO DE JANEIRO. Oct. 23, 2018–Brazil named its team for the South American Championship next month as a qualifier for the 2019 Pan American Games.
The team announced Tuesday is João Paulo dos Santos on Carthago do Sasa, Mauro Pereira Junior on Don Enrico AMM, Yara do Amaral Fernandes on Dileto HI and Victor Trielli Ávila on Al Pacino SN Command.
The CDI1* championships are scheduled for Buenos Aires with the team competitions of the Prix St. Georges Nov. 22 and Intermediate 1 Nov. 23. The Intermediate I Freestyle for individual medals is Nov. 24.
The top three teams qualify for the Pan Ams in Lima next July that in turn is a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
