BUDAPEST, Sept. 29, 2018–German Olympic and World Games team gold medalist Dorothee Schneider and Fohlenhofs Rock’N Rose won the World Cup Grand Prix Saturday with compatriot Benjamin Werndl on Daily Mirror runner-up. Morgan Barbançon of France on Bolero won the CDI3* Grand Prix.

Dorothee and the 14-year-old Hanoverian mare scored 73.674 per cent for the second win in five starts so far this year.

Benjamin Werndl and the 14-year-old Westfalen gelding posted a personal best 72.953 per cent for second place.

Morgan Barbançon and Sir Donnerhall II also posted a personal best 72.109 per cent for third place on the 12-year-old Oldenburg stallion. Morgan, who rode for Spain at the 2012 Olympics, switched in April this year to ride for France which did not send a dressage team to the Tryon World Games earlier this month.

Morgan on Bolero won the CDI3* Grand Prix on a score of 69.065 per cent, the first Big Tour victory for the pair.

Dorothee and Quadriga’s Don Cismo placed second on 68.761 per cent.
