DEVON, Pennsylvania, Sept. 28, 2018–Jessica Jo Tate won the World Cup Grand Prix Friday night in the first Big Tour victory for the American pair.
“JJ” and the 15-year-old Westfalen gelding were awarded a personal best 67.130 per cent for the first win since starting Big Tour 18 months ago. Her farm in Landrum, South Carolina was the base for the American dressage team for the World Equestrian Games earlier this month,
Kimberly Herslow of Stockton, New Jersey and Soraya II placed second on 66.500 per cent. The only previous Big Tour CDI for Kim and Soraya was at this same show a year ago.
The CDI3* Grand Prix was won by Canada’s Evi Strasser on Disney Tyme on a score of 63.783 per cent.
