FALSTERBO, Sweden, July 10, 2018–The Falstewrbo Horse Show in Sweden, a premier Nations Cup host for both dressage and jumping, explained Wednesday the reasons for rejecting entries from Australia for the dressage CDIO5* Nations Cup and CDI3*.

Under the schedule approved by the FEI–the International Equestrian Federation–entries in the Nations Cup were limited to 20 combinations. a Falsterbo spokesperson told dressage-news.com.

The official schedule approved by the FEI and posted on their Internet database confirms this.

Further, the spokesperson said: “We have invited countries that have to be accepted first; Australia was not an invited country through our schedule. We couldn’t even get the reserve nation Finland a spot in NC (Nations Cup).”

The Falsterbo show response confirms the report by dressage-news.com on the rejection of the entries that was the last nominated event to seect an Australian team for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina in two months.
