BRAMSCHE, Germany, June 24, 2018–Kira Wulferding rode Bohemian Rhapsodie to victory at Bonhomme Dressage Festival Sunday to earn a start at the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final, the second horse Kira has qualified in this year’s series.
Kira and the eight-year-old Rhinelander stallion (Belissimo x De Niro) scored 75.488 per cent for the win that gives the pair a start at the year-end final in Frankfurt. Brianna and Bohemian Rhapsody have qualified with the two highest scores so far this year.
She qualified Brianna on a score of 76,171 per cent in early May for the prestigious 12-event circuit in Germany for small tour horses aged seven to nine years.
Great Britain’s Susan Pape on Harmony’s Eclectischthe that she owns with Harmony Sporthorses of Kiowa, Colorado placed second on 75.512 per cent. Leslie Malone’s Harmony acquired the nine-year-old KWPN stallion (Zenon x Olivi) late in 2017.
