COMPIÈGNE, France, May 18, 2018–Hans Peter Minderhoud rode Glock’s Dream Boy to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in only the second Big Tour event for the Netherlands’ Olympic rider and the 10-year-old black stallion.
Hans Peter and Dream Boy (Vivaldi x Ferro) scored 71.457 per cent for the win on the horse that won World Young Horse Championship bronze as a six-year-old when ridden by Gerdine Maree.
Fellow Dutch team rider Adelinde Cornelissen on Zephyr were second on 70.652 per cent, the first Grand Prix score above 70 per cent in two years of Big Tour. The 14-year-old KWPN gelding was bred by Adelinde’s parents.
Belgium’s Jeroen Devroe on Hyrano was third on 68.630 per cent.
