Four American young riders have been selected to go to Europe for “an intensive dressage experience” this summer.
The Dressage Foundation announced recipients of grants through the International Dream Program funded by donors led this year by Margaret Duprey and her Cherry Knoll Farm. The recipients are:
Hannah Irons, 18, of Queenstown, Maryland; Callie O’Connell, 19, of Wilmington, Massachusetts; Amanda Perkowski, 19, of Cream Ridge, New Jersey,and Emma Smith, 20 of Minneapolis.
The World Equestrian Festival CHIO in Aachen, Germany in mid-July will be the core event of the group’s tour.
