COMPANHIA DAS LEZIRIAS, Portugal, May 5, 2018–Maria Pais do Amaral rode Fidalgo to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday in only the second Big Tour event for the Portuguese pair.
Maria and the eight-year-old Lusitano scored 68,522 per for the victory. The duo made their Grand Prix debut two weeks, after competing in seven-year-old young horse and small tour division last year.
Rodrigo Torres also of Portugal and Fogoso placed second on 68.500 per cent.
Brazil’s João Victor Oliva on Xiripiti was third on 67.022 per cent.
