SEGOVIA, Spain, April 7, 2018–Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and her 2016 Olympic partner Delgado won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to remain undefeated in 14 Big Tour starts at home over the past six years.

Beatriz and the 17-year-old Westfalen gelding scored 78.900 per cent for the win with compatriot José Antonio Garcia Mena on Benzi Landro second on 74.900 per cent and Italy’s Nausicaa Maroni on Embajador SG third on 68.075 per cent.

International highlights for Beatriz, 52 years old, and Delgado, ranked 18th in the world, were the Rio Olympics in 2016 and the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, Germany winning the freestyle bronze medal.
