EBREICHSDORF, Austria, April 1, 2018–Germany’s Lisa-Maria Klössinger and Daktari, the 2017 European Under-25 Championship team and individual gold medalists, won the Wiener Neustadt CDI3* Grand Prix, the second Big Tour victory this year.
Lisa-Maria and the 13-year-old German Sport Horse gelding scored 70.652 per cent for the win with Luxembourg’s Sascha Schulz placing second on 70.370 per cent and German Benjamin Werndl on Der Hit third on 69.370 per cent.
Lisa-Maria and Daktari have been partnered since young riders in 2012 and won European Young Rider team gold and individual and freestyle silvers in 2014.
The pair led Germany to team gold at the 2017 European Under-25 Championship, took individual silver but the freestyle was canceled because of equipment failure. Lisa-Maria and Daktari competed in two Big Tour tournaments in 2017 and at Nice, France a month ago won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle.
