YPÄJA, Finland, Mar. 25, 2018–Finland’s Anna von Wendt and Denzel, without an international competition victory in more than seven years until this show, won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for double success with their second personal best score.
Anna and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 72.110 per cent for the win Sunday, a day after capturing the Grand Prix. The duo competed at CDI small tour in 2011 and moved up to Grand Prix in 2015.
In the same placings as the Grand Prix, Estonia’s Dina Ellermann and Landy’s Akvarel were second on 70.420 per cent and Sweden’s Märit Olofsson Nääs on Strolchi third on 70.240 per cent.
