KEYSOE, England, Mar. 16, 2018–Gareth Hughes rode Classic Briolinca to their first Big Tour victory in winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday with a personal best score.
Gareth who has been competing the 12-year-old KWPN mare at international Grand Prix for the past two years, including the Nations Cup at Rotterdam for Great Britain last year, scored 71.935 per cent for the win.
Fellow Briton’s Sonnar Murray Brown on Erlentanz placed second on 68.891 with Olympic rider Fiona Bigwood on Kjaerholm’s Abutsiaq third on 68.652 per cent.
