LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Feb. 5, 2018–The inaugural eight members of the Discover Dressage Emerging Athlete Program were named Monday by U.S. Equestrian.

USEF Dressage Youth Coach George Williams and Assistant Charlotte Bredahl-Baker selected:

Aleyna Dunn of Rancho Santa Fe, California and her Bivera, 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare;

Benjamin Ebeling of Moorpark, California and Behlinger, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Amy Ebeling, Elizabeth Meyer, and Ann Romney;

Isabel Linder of Kewadin, Michigan and Elvis, 14-year-old Westfalen gelding owned by Hai Wei;

Tillie Jones of Lincoln, Nebraska and Apachi, 13-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Tillie and Tish Jones;

Rebekah Mingari of Depauw, Indiana) and Allure S, 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare owned by Kerrin Dunn;

Natalie Pai of Wellington, Florida and her Unlimited, 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding;

Chase Shipka of Marshall, Virginia and Zigal, 14-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Chase, and Darcie Shipka, and

Christian Simonson of Ventura, California and FRH Rassolini, 15-year-old Hessen Warmblood stallion owned by Christina Morgan.

Participants in the Emerging Athlete Program receive access to resources such as score analysis, the USEF human sport science and medicine program, strategic planning meetings, possible financial assistance toward, opportunities to take part in USEF training sessions and clinics as well as one-on-one coaching.
