GENEVA, Dec. 8, 2017-Isabell Werth and Don Johnson FRH won the CDI5* Grand Prix Friday in the 43rd victory in 103 starts in a Big Tour career of seven years so far.

The latest win for Isabell and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding was on a score of 74.900 per cent at the CHI that features one of the four legs of the trans-Atlantic jumping Grand Slam.

Isabell and “Johnny,” as she calls Don Johnson, is also ranked No. 1 on her Olympic mount and 2017 World Cup champion Weihegold OLD and No. 3 on Emilio.

Fellow German Bernadette Brune on Spirit of the Age OLD placed second on 73.540 per cent with Switzerland’s Antonella Joannou on Dandy de la Roche CMF CH third on 71.780 per cent.
