ROOSENDAAL, Netherlands, Dec. 2, 217–Alex van Silfhout rode Zep to victory in the Den Goubergh CDI4* Grand Prix Special Saturday in the first Big Tour event for the Netherlands’ pair.

Alex and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding scored 69.412 per cent in the first CDI for Alex in six years. Zep was competed by his son, Diederik van Silfhout, at small tour three years ago.

Danielle Heijkoop,who rode for the Netherlands at the 2013 European Championships, placed second on Badari on a score of 69.333 per cent.

Portugal’s Boaventura Freire on Sai Baba Plus was third on 68.373 per cent.
