DARMSTADT, Germany, Sept. 24, 2017–Great Britain’s Olympic team silver medal combination of Spencer Wilton and Super Nova II won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday.

Spencer and the British-bred 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Jen Goodman scored 76.471 per cent for the win, for a total of seven victories in 12 starts so far this year.

Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Well Done de la Roche CMF placed second on 75.922 per cent in what was the first Grand Prix Special for the pair competing at only their fourth show since starting Big Tour in May.

Germany;s Dorothee Schneider on Fohlenhof’s Rock’n Rose, who won the Grand Prix Saturday, were third on 73.216 per cent, a personal best in the Special since beginning CDI Grand Prix in April 2016.
