LAMPRECHTSHAUSEN, Austria, Sept. 3, 2017–Germany’s Uwe Schwanz rode Hermes to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Sunday, the first international outing for the nine-year-old German Sport Horse gelding.

Uwe and Hermes (Hotline x Lanciano) scored 73.640 per cent for the win.

Fellow German Cordula Holz making her CDI debut on the 15-year-old D’Artagnan, also not previously shown at a CDI, placed second on 69.600 per cent.

Hayley Beresford, an Australian based in Germany, returned to the Big Tour for the first time since May, 2015 to ride her Rebana W to third on 69.160 per cent.

Hayley competed the nine-year-old Rebana in the World Young Horse Championships as a five-year-old and at two shows at small tour in Austria in 2015.
