FALSTERBO, Sweden, July 15, 2017–Simone Pearce, an Australian rider based in Europe for the past seven years, celebrated her first Big Tour score above 70 per cent along with her first official placing, ranking sixth in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday three days before her 26th birthday.

Simone rode Wladimir O.A. to a score of 71.975 per cent then excitedly watched as Patrik Kittel borrowed the 14-year-old KWPN gelding for his victory gallop as he rested the nine-year-old Well Done de la Roche on which he won the musical competition.

Simone is based in the Netherlands but has become good friends with Australian Olympic and World Games rider Lyndal Oatley, who is married to Patrik and lives in Germany.

She competed Fine Time and Felicia at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, Netherlands in 2016 and other horses at Small Tour and the Under-25 division before moving up to senior Grand Prix in March this year.
