SÃO PAULO, Brazil, June 30, 2017–The Brazil Olympic duo of Giovana Pass and Zingaro de Lyw won the CDI3* Grand Prix with a personal best score in their first Big Tour competition since the 2016 Games.

Giovana and the 13-year-old Spanish-bred Lusitano stallion scored 69.300 per cent for the win that is a qualifying event for the South American and 2018 World Equestrian Games. The 19-year-old rider, a veterinary student, was the youngest on Brazil’s team at the Olympics last August in her homeland for the first time.

Leandro Silva and DiCaprio, 2015 Pan American Games team bronze medal pair, placed second on 68,260 per cent, also a personal high at Grand Prix. Mauro Pereira, Jr. on Banzai AAM was third on 65.500 per cent.
