The Guatemala gold meal team at the International Sports Festival.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, June 28, 2017–Andreas Schorpp on Zedrick Dyloma led Guatemala to the International Sports Festival team gold medal Wednesday.

The team comprised Andrea and Zedrick Dyloma, Margarita de Castillo on Quanderus, Isabel Arzú on Machiatto and Silvia Roesch on Alpires with the three best scores totaling 198,579 for the win at the championships of seven Central American nations.

Andrea and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding that competed at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida and the 2015 Pan Ams posted the highest individual score of 68.368 per cent.

The Honduras team of Karen Atala on Geissenfels, Danielle Kluck ob Liceo CEN and Nadja Rajan on Escondido III won silver.

Isabel Arzu and Macchiato also of Guatemala who won the opening competition Tuesday International Sports Festival of Central American nations, a qualifying competition for the Central American and Caribbean Games.
