MANNHEIM, Germany, May 7, 2017–German Olympian Helen Langehanenberg rode Damsey FRH to a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday.

Helen and the American=owned 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion (Dressage Royal x Ritual) scored 80.350 per cent surpassing their previous best of 79.150 per cent set earlier this year.

This was also the first victory for the 2012 Olympian and Damsey, owned by Leatherdale Farms of , Long Lake, Minnesota since winning both the Grand Prix and the Special at this same event a year, the first CDI for the partnership now ranked No. 36 in the world.

Fellow Germans Beatrice Buchwald on Daily Pleasure was second on 76.750 per cent and Hendrik Lochthowe on Meggle’s Boston was third on 76.025 per cent.
