MANNHEIM, Germany, May 6, 2017–Isabell Werth and Don Johnson FRH logged their ninth straight victory in winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday.

Isabell and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding on which she is ranked No. 13 in the world scored 77.451 per cent for the win.

Since returning to competition last November after a year off from competition while she campaigned Weihegold OLD on which is ranked No. 1 and Emilio ranked No. 6 for the German team at the Rio Olympics, Isabell and “Johnny” have started 10 times, winning nine straight.

German team mate Dorothee Schneider and Sammy Davis Jr. placed second on 75.118 per cent in only their second Big Tour show and the first CDI Special.

Dorothee and the 11-year-old German Sport Horse stallion won the Louisdor Prize, the German Developing Grand Prix Championship last December.

Stefanie Schatz-Weihermüller, also of Germany, was third on Wunderkind on 72,627 per cent.
