SYDNEY, April 28, 2017–Judith Dierks rode Diamond Star to victory in the Sydney CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday, only the second Special for the pair in two years at Big Tour.
Judith and the 11-year-old Bavarian gelding scored 69.22 per cent for the third victory in the past seven months and surpassed their previous Grand Prix Special result of 67.529 per cent set here a year ago.
Matthew Dowsley and Adloo Richard that had won the Grand Prix Thursday in the horse’s debut Big Tour placed second on 67.84 per cent.
Rozzie Ryan and Jarrah R were third on 66.69 per cent.
