WIENER NEUSTADT, Austria, April 17, 2017–Germany’s Stefanie Schatz-Weihermüller and Wunderkind won the Grand Prix Special and Astrid Neumayer of Austria on DSP Rodriguez took the Freestyle Monday to give the pairs double victories at the CDI3*.
Stefanie and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding posted a personal best 71.412 per cent for the win after taking the Grand Prix Friday, the first career victories for the pair since beginning Small Tour five years ago before moving to Big Tour three years ago this month.
Fellow German Ursula Wagner on Delenzio OLD was second on 70.000 per cent and Italy’s Norma Paoli on Equitago Zandor third on 69.824 per cent.
Astrid Neumayer on DSP Rodriguez scored 73.725 per cent to take the Freestyle to add to the Grand Prix win Sunday with Austria’s Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Duccio second on 72.675 per cent and Sweden’s Sanna Nilsson on Lennox third on 71.650 per cent.
