LAUSANNE, Switzerland, April 13, 2017–The World Young Horse Championships were awarded to Ermelo, Netherlands for four straight years to 2019 before returning to Verden, Germany in 2020 in a lineup of championship cities and dates announced Thursday by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).

The list of dressage championships awarded by the FEI Bureau are:

2018–FEI European Championships for Ponies (Jumping, Dressage, Eventing) – Bishop Burton in Great Britain Aug. 7-12

2019 –FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championship for Young Horses – Ermelo, Netherlands Aug. 1-4
FEI European Dressage Championship Under-25 – Roosendaal, Netherlands Aug. 7-11
FEI European Dressage Championship for Young Riders, Juniors & Children – Roosendaal Aug. 7-11 August

2020–FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championship for Young Horses – Verden, Germany Aug. 5-9
