MEDINA-SIDONIA, Spain, Mar. 21, 2017–Daniel Pinto and Santurion de Massa won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Tuesday for the first back-to-back victories for the Portuguese pair in two years of Big Tout competition.
Daniel and the 11-year-old Portuguese Sport Horse scored 70.745 per cent for the win a day after taking the Grand Prix and the first show in five months for the pair that competed at the 2015 European Championships.
In a sweep of the top placings by Portuguese riders, Vasco Mira Godinho on Bariloche was second on 70.098 per cent and Ricardo Ramalho on Despinio was third on 67.902 per cent.
