WARENDORF, Germany, Jan. 19, 2017–Klaus Roesser has been elected chair of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee for the third year while 24-year-old Sanneke Rothenberger becomes the first representative of youth riders.
The A and B squad riders selected Hubertus Schmidt, Fabienne Lütkemeier, Sanneke Rothenberger and Florine Kienbaum as their representatives.
Hubertus remains active speaker of the riders with Fabienne Lütkemeier as his deputy.
For the first time, the athletes chose Sanneke, the three-time Under-25 European champion, as the first rider responsible for youth athletes. Florine, 23 years old, will be deputy.
