DONAUESCHINGEN, Germany, Sept. 18, 2016–Michelle Hagman and Happiness won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday with a personal best score and the first victory by the Swedish rider and the 11-year-old mare.
Michelle and the Hanoverian mare that began competing at CDI Grand Prix last November scored 74.843 per cent for the win, their first in eight starts. The pair were a close runner-up in the Grand Prix Saturday, also with a personal best result.
Germany’s Fabienne Lütkemeier on Fabregaz were second on 74.098 per cent. The results here for Fabienne and the nine-year-old German Sport Horse were also both personal bests .
Beatrice Buchwald, assistant trainer with Isabell Werth, rode Daily Pleasure to third place on 73.961 per cent. The pair had won the Grand Prix.
