SAUMUR, France, April 30, 2016–Michael Eilberg and Marakov captured the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday, the second musical performance victory this year for the British team pair.
Michael and the 16-year-old Latvian Warmblood gelding scored 76.050 per cent for the win in almost six years at Big Tour, and the second highest Freestyle result.
Veronique Henschen of Luxembourg on Fontalero placed second on 72.950 per cent with Ireland’s Roland Tong on Rybrook Ambience third on 72.175 per cent.
