MANNHEIM, Germany, April 30, 2016–German Olympian Helen Langehanenberg rode Damsey FRH to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday in the first CDI Big Tour competition for the American-owned stallion.

Competing the 14-year-old Hanoverian (Dressage Royal x Ritual) in the stallion’s first CDI Grand Prix, Helen and the horse owned by Leatherdale Farms of Long Lake, Minnesota were awarded 73.740 per cent for the victory.

Fellow German Jenny Lang-Nobbe on Loverboy placed second on 71.460 per cent and Jennie Larsson of Sweden on Zircoon Spring Flower was third on 70.380 per cent.

Helen was No. 2 on the world on Damon Hill but lost the ride on the stallion after winning team gold and two individual silver medals at the 2014 World Games. The pair won the World Cup Final in 2013 and placed second the following year, secured team gold at the 2013 European Championships and was on Germany’s silver medal team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
