HAGEN, Germany, April 23, 2016–Kristina Bröring-Sprehe and Desperados FRH won the Horses & Dreams CDI4* Grand Prix Special Saturday while the 21-year-old Sönke Rothenberger on Cosmo were runner-up in only the second Big Tour Special for the pair.
Kristina and the 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion, the world’s No. 1 combination, scored 81.745 per cent for the victory a day after posting a career personal best score of 82.800 per cent in the Grand Prix.
Sönke and the nine-year-old Cosmo were awarded 77.196 per cent for second place in only their third event since starting Big Tour last September. The pair were second in the Grand Prix on a score that was also a personal best.
Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB rounded out the top three for Germany with a score of 77.000 per cent.
