LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Msr. 8, 2016–Chrystine J. Tauber announced Tuesday she will not seek another term as president of the United States Equestrian Federation after four years in the post.

The “very personal decision,” Chrystine said of not pursuing a second four-year term comes just two months after the departure of Chris Welton, a former Olympic marketing executive, as USEF Chief Executive Officer. He had been in the job only 18 months.

William Moroney of the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is interim chief.

The USEF announced three weeks ago it was accepting nominations for president of the organization that governs eight international disciplines and 21 national divisions and breeds.
