DORTMUND, Germany, Mar. 6, 2016–Charlott-Maria Schürmann rode Burlington FRH to the highest score for the German pair to win the CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday while Beata Stremler on Rubicon D also performed for a personal best in their last-ditch quest for an Olympic start for Poland.
Charlott-Maria of Germany and the 13-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 78.200 per cent for the win with Beata and Rubicon on 76.400 per cent for second place.
Germany’s Matthias Bouten on Söhnlein Brilliant MJ placed third on 75.800 per cent while Marcela Krinke-Susmelj on Smeyer’s Molberg already apparently ranked high enough to qualify Switzerland for an Olympic individual start was fourth on 74.500 per cent.
Charlott-Maria has competed Burlington from European Young Rider Championship team gold and individual silver in 2012 through Small Tour and Under-25 to the Big Tour.
