WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 29, 2016–Florida-based Danish riders Mikala Gundersen and Lars Peters, who is now also an American citizen, remained atop the Global Dressage Festival prize money standings after four of the circuit’s seven CDIs.

United States riders took five of the top 10 earnings spots in the rankings presented by Cunninbgham & Cunningham Livestock Insurance and compiled by dressage-news.com.

The earnings total of $44,560 for Mikala who has lived in Wellington for more than a decade kept her at the top of the money rankings for two consecutive standings. Lars Peters, who rode at the Olympics for Denmark and became an American citizen earlier this month stood second with $29,815.

Shelly France of neighboring Loxahatchee moved into third place with total earnings of $24,9870 after successes with Doktor and Danilo while the $23,820 won by Steffen Peters of San Diego, California on Legolas and Rosamunde put them in fourth place.

Sweden’s six-time Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén the top money earner for the first two CDIs is now ranked No. 5 with a total of $22,970.
