BURBANK, California, Feb. 28, 2016–Anna Buffini on Sundayboy won the Mid Winter World Cup Grand Prix Special Sunday in the first Big Tour event for the 2014 U.S. Young Rider Championship pair.
Anna of Escondido, California and the 17-year-old KWPN gelding scored 69.882 per cent for the win two days after placing second in the Grand Prix.
Anne Howard of Watsonville on Rondo was second on 66.196 per cent and Canada’s Wendy Christoff on Treffer third with 66.157 per cent.
