WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 29, 2016–German Junior Rider Felicitas Hendricks on Faible AS posted a personal best score to win the CDI Team test Friday in their second year of competing at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival.

Felicitas and the 12-year-old Westfalen gelding were awarded 74.910 per cent from the three-judge panel, surpassing their previous best Team result of 71.757 per cent set at Hagen, Germany last June.

The United States’ Nicole Scarpino on Lambada was second on 65.586 per cent and Ava MacCoubrey of Canada on Pablo third on 59.685 per cent.

“It’s very exciting,” said Felicitas, 15 years old, who trains with Christoph Koschel in Hagen.

The pair had a successful debut Florida winter circuit in 2015 placing first in seven of their 10 CDI starts. In the Junior Rider Nations Cup on her return home, she and Faible were first in the Team, Individual and Freestyle competitions.

Later in this circuit of seven CDIs, she plans to compete in Young Riders for the first time.

This may be her last year in Florida for a while because of requirements for school at home, unlike the United States where many riders study online and attend schools set up specially for children of the numerous families who travel to Wellington for the winter.
