DRACHTEN, Netherlands, Jan. 10,2016–Marlies Van Baalen rode Ratzinger to a personal best score to win the Indoor Drachten CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday while the German-based American Jennifer Hoffmann on Florentinus V won the Intermediate 1.
The Dutch rider and the 12-year-old Rhinelander gelding scored 76.550 per cent in their third Grand Prix Freestyle since starting CDI Big Tour last September and their second victory, the other being at Le Mans, France in October which was also their previous best Freestyle result.
Hans Peter Minderhoud on Glock’s Romanov placed second on 74.425 per cent with Germany’s Nadine Husenbeth on Florida third on 73.025 per cent.
Jennifer Hoffman of the United States on Florentinus V won the CDI3* Intermediate I with a score of 68.842 per cent with Denmarks Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Zepter second on 67.211 per cent and Krista Kolijn of the Netherlands on Wish in third on 65.816 per cent.
