MUNICH, Germany, Nov. 6, 2015–German Olympic rider Dorothee Schneider on Showtime was declared the winner of the Munich Indoor CDI4* Grand Prix Friday after being awarded the same score as German team rider Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB who was initially announced the winner before a recount reversed the decision.

The judges awarded both pairs 76.680 per cent but a mistake in calculating collective marks to break the tie led to Jessica and the 14-year-old KWPN stallion being placed first in the official results.

However, after a recount the official results were changed and Dorothee and the nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding were declared victorious in only their third international competition since the pair started Big Tour in June. Three of the judges placed the pair first and two ranked them second for an overall result that was a personal best.

Dorothee rode for Germany at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Jessica rode on the German bronze medal team at the European Championships in August and took bronze at the World Cup Final in Las Vegas last April. She and Unee BB were placed first by two judges and second by three.

Matthias Bouten of Germany on Ehrengold MJ placed third on 70.040 per cent.
