MUNICH, Germany, May 17, 2015–Carola Koppelmann rode Sandiego to victory in the Munich Nürnberger Burgpokal qualifier Sunday to claim a place for the pair in the final of Germany’s most prestigious small tour championship to be held in Frankfurt in December.
Carola and the eight-year-old Mecklenburg gelding scored 76.536 per cent, the highest score in the four qualifying Prix St. Georges Special competitions so far, with 11 more competitions leading to the final.
Kristina Sprehe on Fürst Fugger was second on 72.951 per cent with Anja Plönzke on Revolverheld NRW third on 71.171 per cent.
