RANCHO MURIETA, California, Apr. 3, 2015–Brian Hafner on Lombardo LHF won the Golden State Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Friday with a personal best score and logging their first victory since winning this event a year ago.

Brian of Sonoma, California and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 69.400 per cent for the victory with Heather Oleson of Eagle, Idaho on Victor in second on 67.440 per cent and Canada’s Joni Lynn Peters on Travolta third on 65.840 per cent.

The score for Brian and Lombardo–the pair was a medalist at the North American Young Rider Championships in 2009–exceeded their previous best result of 69.020 per cent at San Juan Capistrano a week ago and the same award in riding for the United States on the Nations Cup team in Rotterdam last June.
