GOTHENBERG, Sweden, Feb. 27, 2015–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB won the Gothenberg Horse Show Grand Prix Friday as the German pair prepare for the World Cup Final in Las Vegas in mid-April.
Jessica, already atop the World Cup Western European League standings that appear certain to earn her an invitation to Las Vegas, rode the 14-year-old KWPN stallion to a score of 73.460 per cent.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and the Australian-owned Toy Story placed second on 73.180 per cent while Isabell Werth on El Santo NRW were third on 73.060 per cent.
This event is the eighth of nine Western European qualifiers for the World Cup that is decided by the Freestyle. The Freestyle is scheduled for Saturday.
