WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 3, 2015– The Robert Dover HorseMastership week got underway Saturday at the Van Kampen Arena at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival grounds at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, the fourth annual staging of the event that brings riders from around the United States to learn about dressage life.
This year’s clinic features 16 invited riders: Kerrigan Gluch, Rachel Chowanec, Bronwyn Cordiak, Allie Cyprus, Mallory Kent, Hannah MacCabe, Claire McNulty, Molly Paris, Cassie Schmidt, Rosie Simoes, Regan Walsh, Bebe Davis, Kallie Beckers, Mattie Zepernick, Ashleigh Conroy-Zugel, and Ayden Uhlir. Eight participating auditors were: Julia Barton, Hanna Benne, Jennifer Foulon, Eliza Gardner, Madison Lacy, Alexa Perkins and Emma Szegvari.
Sponsored in part by Dressage for Kids (D4K.), the clinic runs to Jan. 7.
Instructors in addition Robert, are Debbie McDonald, George Williams, Charlotte Bredahl-Baker, Laura Graves and Adrienne Lyle.
The students attend demonstrations and lectures on rider fitness, spoets psychology, farrier, horse equipment and media.
The event wraps up Wednesday with a schooling show judged by Janet Foy.
