FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 19, 2014–Ulla Salzgeber rode Herzruf’s Erbe to victory in the Festhallen CDI4* Grand Prix Friday, the second win for the German pair in the past three months.
Ulla and the 15-year-old Rhinelander gelding scored 74.880 percent for the win over Switzerland’s Marcel Krinke Susmelj on Smeyers Molberg on 72.320 per cent with Germany’s Benjamin Werndl on Der Hit in third place on 71.540 per cent.
Highlights of this event are the finals of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal and the Louisdor Prize, German national series for developing Prix St. Georges and Grand Prix horses, respectively.
Isabell Werth on Emilio scored 73.220 per cent to win the preliminary Prix St. Georges over Oliver Oelrich on Füchtels Floriscount OLD in second on 73.122 per cent and Matthias Alexander Rath on Danönchen OLD in third on 72.902 per cent.
Beatrice Buchwald, assistant trainer to Isabell Werth, on Weihegold OLD won the Louisdor preliminary developing Grand Prix on 74.837 per cent with Hedda Droege on Donatella second on 72.698 per cent and Hubertus Schmidt on Sammy Deluxe third on 71.349 per cent.
