STOCKHOLM, Nov. 29, 2014–Hans Peter Minderhoud rode Glock’s Flirt to victory with a personal best score in the Sweden International World Cup Grand Prix Saturday. It was the first win for the pair since beginning their international competition partnership six months ago.

The Dutch team rider and the 13-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding scored 73.940 per cent, edging past their previous best result of 73.920 per cent logged at the World Cup event in Odense, Denmark last month.

Six-time Swedish Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén competing Don Auriello for the first time since the World Equestrian Games in Normandy last summer placed second on 72.980 per cent.

Fellow Swede Jeanne Högberg on Darcia VH was third on 72.600 per cent.

Hans Peter began competing Flirt at CDI Grand Prix in June and the pair was on the Netherlands’ team at the Nations Cup in Aachen, Germany in Ju;y.

The pair placed second behind Isabell Werth and El Santo NRW in the inaugural Central Park Horse Show in the heart of New York City in September.

This is the third Western European League World Cup event they have competed in since then, leading to the Final in Las Vegas next April. The Freestyle that determines points for the WEL standings is scheduled for Sunday.
