LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 26, 2014–Changes to the withdrawal times for intraarticular injections and shockwave therapy will be implemented by the U.S. Equestrian Federation effective Dec. 1 for the 2015 competition year.
Under rules adopted at the 2014 annual meeting, a four-day withdrawal time from competition will be required for intraarticular injections and three days for shockwave therapy.
For the 2015 competition year, the USEF has created an Online Medication Report Form for Therapeutic Administration of Forbidden Substances. It can be accessed at https://www.usef.org/_iframes/drugs/medicationreportform/.
