Britain is exploring the possibility of hosting the European Dressage Championships along with jumping and para-dressage in August 2019.

British Dressage and British Show Jumping on Friday reported it is looking for interest from organizers and venues to host the event that would allocate five days each for the three discipline over a period of 10 days.

The Europeans in dressage and jumping were last staged in Britain at Windsor in 2009.

The championships in 2019 would be a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

British Dressage said 50 to 70 horses would be expected for dressage, 100-120 for jumping and 70 to 80 for para dressage.

The only time dressage, jumping and para-dressage were staged at the same faciity was at Herning, Denmark in 2013.
