LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Oct. 16, 2014–George Williams was named United States Youth Coach and Charlotte Bredahl-Baker will be the assistant, the U.S. Equestrian Federation announced Thursday.
George, 54, is president of the U.S. Dressage Federation and has an extensive training clinic schedule around the country.
George was best known for competing Rocher,the Westfalen mare adored by fans for her big floppy ears. The pair competed in Europe and among their career highlights was winning team bronze medal at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany in 2005.
Charlotte, 57, who moved to the U.S. from Denmark in 1979, is based in Solvang, California. On her Monsieur, she was on the U.S. Olympic team that won bronze at Barcelona, Spain in 1992. She now focuses on training and judging.
George and Charlotte replace Jeremy Steinberg who held the post for four years until June of this year.
